Lady Sylvanas Brisaveloz (Sylvanas Windrunner in Warcraft III), sometimes also titled as “the Dark Lady” or as “the Queen Soul in Sorrow”, is the supreme leader of the Renegades, one of the most powerful undead factions in Azeroth. In life, Sylvanas was the Forester General of Lunargenta, whose leadership and martial prowess were unparalleled. During the Third War, she bravely defended Quel’Thalas from a Plague invasion led by the death knight Arthas Menethil. In the end, however, Sylvanas fell in battle. Instead of honoring the Forester General with a swift death, Arthas ripped out her soul and transformed her into a soul in pain: a cunning, vengeful agent of the Lich King, seized by hatred.

When the Lich King’s hold on his minions weakened, Sylvanas broke away from her tyrannical master’s control and regained her body. Vowing to avenge his death, Sylvanas gathered other renegade undead and set out to wage war against the Plague. Thus was formed the group known as the Renegades, with Sylvanas as their queen. Under Sylvanas’ command, the Renegades joined the Horde and later helped bring about the fall of the Lich King in the frozen lands of Northrend.

The true story told in the film actually began more than a century ago. In December 1900, three lighthouse keepers from the island off the coast of the Hebrides, west of Scotland, disappeared without a trace. The fate of these men, living in complete solitude and isolation at the end of the world, remains a mystery today.

Keepers: The Mystery of the Lighthouse’ is a slow-burning film with a peculiar rhythm. The credits are barely over and we have already met the three main characters introduced and the location where the events will unfold.

The treatment of it is similar to the realism of some works of current directors who, like Jeremy Saulnier, seek impact through the everyday: this will be the most brutal violence that can reach people who are not accustomed nor prepared to commit such acts.

The staging, 100% handmade, without external seasoning, helps us to look over the cliff of these three great performances full of intensity in an idyllic environment… for a good nightmare.

El Internado, también conocido como El Internado: Laguna Negra, es una serie de televisión de suspense para adolescentes producida por Globomedia para la cadena española Antena 3. La serie se emitió originalmente en España del 24 de mayo de 2007 al 13 de octubre de 2010. La serie comenzó a emitirse en Netflix el 15 de julio de 2015, y dejó de emitirse el 20 de diciembre de 2017. La serie se volvió a emitir el 16 de octubre de 2018.

También es nueva María Almagro (Marta Torné), que entra como limpiadora. Alfonso Ceballos Parra (Francisco Merino) confía en Victoria Martínez González (Elena Furiase) y Carolina Leal de Solis (Ana de Armas) para contarles un secreto: el internado es peligroso y tienen que salir de allí. Para ello, se reúne con ellas por la noche en el cementerio cercano al edificio. Las chicas se lo cuentan a Iván Noiret León (Yon González), Roque Sánchez Navas (Daniel Retuerta), Cayetano Montero Ruiz (Fernando Tielve) y Marcos, que van al encuentro de Alfonso, pero éste acaba por no estar. Esto se debe a que fue secuestrado y metido en los túneles subterráneos para morir.

Como parte de las actividades paralelas del Festival Internacional de Cine de Marbella 2018, nos complace anunciar la proyección de algunas películas realmente destacadas del mundo del cine, en julio y agosto en el Teatro Goya de Puerto Banús.
