After playing and finishing Watch Dogs 2, I’ve felt like swallowing both seasons of Mr. Robot, buying a powerful laptop and going out in the street (with headphones on) to see what I can do with a smartphone. I’ve also felt like deleting myself from all social networks and trying to remove all traces I’ve left on the Internet…. But I’m getting ahead of myself.

Remember Assassin’s Creed? Not the saga, I know you already know that; I’m talking about the first installment, a title that was a victim of its own hype. Although it wasn’t bad, it presented several problems that kept it away from being the jewel we all expected… But then it arrived: Assassin’s Creed II. The biggest leap (of faith) that the saga has taken, and considered by many as the best installment to date. Assassin’s Creed would not be the million-dollar franchise it is today if it weren’t for AC II.

Interestingly, a simile can be made with these first two installments and the ditto Watch Dogs. The first one, graphic scandals aside, and without being a bad game at all, was quite far from what those first trailers seemed to predict (if you want, you can read the Watch Dogs review to refresh it). Watch Dogs 2, however, has hit the key: all the problems have been solved, it has found its own identity and has become an unpretentious sandbox that only offers pure and honest fun.
