Baldur’s gate forgotten realms

Beamdog remasters and updates the two great classics of action role-playing games based on Dungeons & Dragons with a console adaptation that includes numerous improvements and additional content.

As a sequel, it continued the plot of the first game, placing them almost immediately after the end, dropping hints that something horrible has happened. We will wake up isolated in a kind of dungeon prison, where someone has been experimenting on us in the most horrible ways imaginable. We will have to break free from our captivity, gather guts, equip ourselves with the first thing we have at hand and flee quickly, making some allies along the way and discovering the terrible secret hidden in this subway prison. Although the sequel suffers from the same failure of wanting to show very little of its story in the early hours of the adventure -it is not that it is difficult to start, it is that it jealously guards many details until well past the first chapters-, soon we will be living one of the most epic, fun and special plots in the history of video games.

Baldur’s Gate release date

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is a re-release of the role-playing video game Baldur’s Gate and its expansion Baldur’s Gate: Tales of the Sword Coast. The game was originally published by Interplay Entertainment and developed by BioWare. The series has two titles, as well as several spin-offs. After the third game in the series was cancelled, Interplay lost the license to produce the games, so this re-release is being carried out by Overhaul Games, a division of Beamdog. Overhaul is composed of many former BioWare employees, and the game will be distributed by Atari, marking their entry into the series.

The enhanced edition of Baldur’s Gate – which will come together with its expansion in a single package – is scheduled for release in the summer of 2012. Overhaul games also announced that it is also working on an enhanced version of Baldur’s Gate II and will be released shortly after the release of the enhanced version of the original Baldur’s Gate.[1][2][2]

It has also been revealed that to allow the game to flow more smoothly the maximum level has been increased. All classes and races from Baldur’s Gate II and Throne of Bhaal will also be present in the game. A new character kit has also been planned for the game. The character limit is being capped at 6 characters, to prevent Overhaul Games from having to refocus the entire game.[5] The game’s character limit has been increased to 6.
